Joy Moore joined our team in 2003 after moving here from San Diego, CA. She earned her BA in Psychology from The University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999 and went on to pursue a career in business and real estate.
As our principal broker Joy manages our team of agents and oversees property management, leasing, and company owned sales and purchases. She shows all of our downtown developments and specializes in locating tenants for rental properties. She also works with individual clients to find or sell property. As a licensed KY real estate broker she can assist with all your real estate needs!

McKay joined the real estate profession after years in retail sales & marketing. He has lots of experience with internet marketing and social media – very important aspects of the current real estate industry! McKay also has experience in the non-profit sector and continues to volunteer his time and talents to local organizations. McKay is a native Lexingtonian and is very involved in our community. He earned his BA in political science at The University of Kentucky. He has lived downtown for several years and has witnessed its transformation first hand. He is ready to assist with all your real estate needs!
Suzanne joined our team in 2009. She brings years of professional experience to LRC and has a background in property management. She received her BS from The University of Kentucky and is a proud Downtown Lexington resident! Suzanne manages and leases our Premier Executive Center office suites and oversees the LRC office. She is also a licensed KY Real Estate Agent and would love to help you with all your real estate needs!
Bobbby traveled extensively throughout the world during his childhood, and moved to Lexington with his family in 1991. He attended Sayre School on North Limestone, and it was during this time that his love for downtown Lexington began to develop. By the time he graduated from Transylvania University a few years later, his mind had been made up: downtown Lexington would be the place he would call home! Bobby has lived and worked in the historic South Hill neighborhood since 2004. He has extensive experience renovating both historic single family homes and commercial buildings, including fine-dining restaurants. Bobby joined the LRC team in 2013.
Truitt joined the team in 2014. He is primarily a residential real estate appraiser and owns Avenue Appraisals, LLC. His interest in the evolving and expanding downtown Lexington area led him to LRC. Prior to opening his appraisal office he worked in Nashville as an associate appraiser for a large national appraisal firm. He also has experience and knowledge in marketing and rental property management/leasing. Truitt is a Lexington native and holds a degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky. He would love to use his extensive knowledge of Lexington and the local market to assist you with any of your real estate needs.
Nathan has been a Lexingtonian for over 25 years. He earned a degree in Bio-Processing Engineering from UK, and while he was there he started his own company, working in landscape design and maintenance. He has a particular interest in the 40502 area, where he has remodeled and rebuilt many distressed homes. He also has experience managing and leasing both commercial and residential properties. Nathan also runs GXBilt, Inc., a heavy equipment trade and brokerage company. Outside of his professional passions, Nathan loves to be outdoors and enjoys bluegrass music. He even plays the banjo!
Garrett grew up in Lexington, and studied sociology at UK with a focus on community food systems and patterns of urban land use. There he developed interests in urban redevelopment, green infrastructure, housing affordability, community stakeholder engagement, and permaculture design. He studied real estate in Texas and worked with a land development team in Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition to sales, Garrett has experience moving development projects through the negotiation, entitlement, financing, design, and construction phases. He returned to Lexington and joined the LRC team in 2017.
When he is not practicing real estate, Garrett enjoys creating music and art, hiking, and cooking.
