Born and raised in Lexington, McKay takes great pride in his hometown. He attended Lexington Catholic High School and the University of Kentucky. He has a strong commitment to giving back to the community through his service to Christian Appalachian Project and by serving as a board member and fundraiser for Surgery on Sunday. McKay also has served two terms on the board of Lexington Young Professional Association (LYPA) and one term on the board of Lexington Calendar Project. He also helped start The Bourbon Classic, an annual Christmas party that helped to raise money for local charities. His interests include getting outside whenever possible to fish, hike, boat etc. with his beloved Yellow Lab, Dottie.
He enjoys helping first time home buyers, investors, renters, sellers, businesses with all their real estate needs. He is the Principal Broker of Lexington’s Real Estate Company (LRC) and has been in the real estate business for over five years. Affiliations include; The National Association of Realtors (NAR), Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors (LBAR), and the Million Dollar Club. McKay strongly believes in the use of technology to effectively market or locate your dream home, and has e-Pro certification to assist in that pursuit. At the end of the day, you will find that he relies on building strong relationships and firm commitment to the satisfaction of his clients.
Suzanne has been with LRC since 2009. She oversees operations for both LRC, and LRC office suites. She brings years of professional experience to LRC and has an extensive background in property management. She is an alumna of the University of Kentucky and a proud downtown Lexington resident! Suzanne is a licensed KY Real Estate Agent and specializes in residential and office space real estate.
Ann-Phillips Mayfield is a 1999 graduate of Transylvania University. She received her B. S. in Political Science and is a Chi Omega Alumni. She currently serves as President of Baby Health Service, Treasurer of the Lexington Children’s Theatre, Co-chair of the Sts. Peter & Paul School Mardi Gras Auction and on the March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction Executive Leadership Committee.
She also serves as a member of Session of First Presbyterian Church and is the Convener of the Resources Commission overseeing Property, Finance, Stewardship & Endowment. She volunteers for the LOGOS children’s program and serves on the Personnel Committee.
She has previously served as a member of the Board of Deacons, the Mission Commission, the Pastor Nominating Committee, the Pastor Evaluation Team, the St. Joseph Hospital STARS Foundation and was the 2005 Lexington Junior Women’s Club Young Woman of the Year Recipient.
She and her husband Jay, reside in downtown Lexington with their children Murphy and Holman.
Bobbby traveled extensively throughout the world during his childhood, and moved to Lexington with his family in 1991. He attended Sayre School on North Limestone, and it was during this time that his love for downtown Lexington began to develop. By the time he graduated from Transylvania University a few years later, his mind had been made up: downtown Lexington would be the place he would call home! Bobby has lived and worked in the historic South Hill neighborhood since 2004. He has extensive experience renovating both historic single family homes and commercial buildings, including fine-dining restaurants. Bobby joined the LRC team in 2013.
Truitt joined the team in 2014. He is primarily a residential real estate appraiser and owns Avenue Appraisals, LLC. His interest in the evolving and expanding downtown Lexington area led him to LRC. Prior to opening his appraisal office he worked in Nashville as an associate appraiser for a large national appraisal firm. He also has experience and knowledge in marketing and rental property management/leasing. Truitt is a Lexington native and holds a degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky. He would love to use his extensive knowledge of Lexington and the local market to assist you with any of your real estate needs.
Nathan has been a Lexingtonian for over 25 years. He earned a degree in Bio-Processing Engineering from UK, and while he was there he started his own company, working in landscape design and maintenance. He has a particular interest in the 40502 area, where he has remodeled and rebuilt many distressed homes. He also has experience managing and leasing both commercial and residential properties. Nathan also runs GXBilt, Inc., a heavy equipment trade and brokerage company. Outside of his professional passions, Nathan loves to be outdoors and enjoys bluegrass music. He even plays the banjo!
